‘I rolled a 76 on my slight of hand! What did I find!’ Tired of just handing them a coin purse? Roll on the table to determine what they nicked from their victim.
1) Wooden Beholder Toy: A rare find since it was discontinued for its association with Xanathar and his brutality. (can be sold to a collector for 10 gp)
2) Jade Dice: A fine crafted set of common gaming dice used in various games. (20 gp)
3) Tiny Shovel: This tiny spade looks like it’s meant to be used by a child in the sand, but it’s actually magical and allows the wielded to use the cantrip Mold Earth at will. (100 gp)
4) Mithril Flask of Nyanzaru Rum: This dark spiced rum is crafted by the merchant princess Kwayothe. A lovely and rare drink in a Mithril flask. (125 gp)
The magic is in the details! (Also the devil, but that’s a different post). So let’s add a bit of zip to one of the most common items the game; the shield.
Roll on the table for your unique shield and who might be wilding it.
Animal Parts: Turtle shells, beetle carapaces, and bones all add a primal nature to your NPC while characterizing the local fauna.
Doors: It’s fun throwing hulking thugs at the PCs using broken of doors and portculliss as protection. It shows that those NPCs are ‘unhinged’.
Small Creatures: Nothing says baddie like a villain who uses the living as a shield. An ogre that lashed the mayor’s daughter to his forarm just conveys a level of evil.
Torn Steel: Have your NPCs use torn fragments of breastplates and rent shields of dead foes to create a collage of past victories. Make your players wonder ‘will my armor just be another shield in their horde?’

Mama Zarazu found Ba’puu when she was 13 and rasied him ever since. If you want to read the story, read it here :3 It’s damn awesome
Forever later I finally figured out how to get these pages as pdf files and then convert them to jpg. With that, I took all the items I made and posted before onto this plus another 12! If you plan on using these items in your campaign please message me because I would love to know.
Not sure why the titles of each item are weirdly blurry, but still legible.
The Ruin – A demigod and lord of the Sorrow-Hunt, he is an embodiment of every act of depravity, violence, and destruction the Wyrd and Wild have to offer. It stands to reason that he was human once, such evil could only have come from a mortal after all…
